Join the ARIN Fall Fundraiser, "Hike for Healing".  Grab your local friends, family and supporters and create your own "hike" in your community.  Get sponsors for each of your miles/feet/yards walked.  Money donated to ARIN helps to provide assistance to those hurting after abortion, will train up new Abortion Recovery Specialists and will help ARIN Affiliates financially when needed.

Purchase a booth at your local swap meet, county fair, home craft show, etc. and create SECULAR friendly information about abortion recovery opportunities. This is NOT the venue for graphic pictures, etc. We want to reach out to those hurting, not cause more pain!  Again call us ... we can help you!

Plan a day at your local Christian school to give a presentation on the consequences of abortion. Call ARIN Staff for further information. May 7, 2013:

Look in the ARIN CARE Directory, do a zip code seach on your program and find just ONE other Abortion Recovery Leader who you can have lunch with. Either physically or even by phone. Connecting with those of us who understand this unique ministry will help encourage you, support you and pray for you! ARIN CARE DIRECTORY

April 23, 2013:

Look in your area to see if there is a "Christian" Chamber of Commerce.  They may be open to meeting with you. Propose a one day "informational" meeting regarding Compassionate Abortion Recovery Efforts™!

April 9, 2013:

Recruit a prayer team for your Abortion Recovery Program. Have weekly conference calls with them so that they will know how to pray specifically for your program. Have them pray for other Abortion Recovery efforts around the globe as well :)

March 26, 2013:

Abortion Recovery Awareness Month™ is right around the corner.  Make sure you review the ARAM Activity Calendar and are preparing to share your program in your community. Visit the ARAM page on this website.

March 12, 2013:

How do you recruit clients to your Abortion Recovery Program?  Do you advertise?  Put up flyers at church?

Ever considered using ARIN's DROP Cards?!

ARIN created, back in the mid 2000's, what we call, DROP Cards! These are used for advertising overall Abortion Recovery efforts. What does that mean? That means we all use the same card. No matter where you drop the card, a person needing help can then find an ARIN Affiliate.

Example: Someone visiting Montana, might live in California... and by finding a DROP card in the Montana Library, they can still find help for their past abortion in California, because the CARE Directory's main website is listed and nothing else. They return to California, spend some time on the website and are connected to an Abortion Recovery Leader in their area. Simple... Yes!  Effective... ABSOLUTELY!  And no one hurting falls through the cracks.

Better yet, babies have been saved numerous times by women considering abortion finding these cards!  It's a win-win, no matter how you look at it!  An ARIN Advocate even placed them in an elevator which took abortion vulnerable clients upstairs to a Planned Parenthood clinic.

You may obtain ARIN DROP Cards from page 2 of the ARIN Store.  http://arinstore.org

DROP = Delivering Recovery Opportunities to the Public

Vicki Thorn, Founder of Project Rachel had this to say:

"Cards that people carry with them and leave in bathrooms in various establishments.. tuck them in the door ads, leave at laundromats.. old fashioned in high tech world but ti works"!

February 26, 2013:

Where do most of your Abortion Recovery clients come from?  Maybe they are volunteers in your pegnancy care center? This is common practice for womens' resource centers to require that all volunteers who have experienced an abortion, complete an Abortion Recovery Program.

But... what about the volunteers who haven't personally experienced an abortion?

Consider condensing your recovery program into a 1 or 2 day overview, so that your NON-post abortive volunteers can walk through the process of abortion recovery.  They'll have a clearer idea of what their fellow volunteers have gone through during "healing" and will be able to better promote your recovery program to post-abortive clients.

February 12, 2013:

Have you considered creating a mailing list specific for your Abortion Recovery Program? Individuals on this list might include past clients (that want to keep up with your ministry and how they can help), volunteers from a pregnancy resource center, pastors that support your program, etc.

You might also wish to include, with permission, key people in your local community: school nurses, college student for life reps, human services center, rape counselor, other Abortion Recovery Specialists in your area.

Go to our Facebook page today and add your thoughts as to whom else you might include: http://www.facebook.com/ARINInc

January 29, 2013:

Does your program perform exit interviews with your Recovery "Graduates"?

What insight into your recovery program might past clients give to make your program better?

If you don't ask "exiting" questions...
Create a short, simple exit form for clients to complete!

January 22, 2013:

Today is the 40th anniversary of Roe vs Wade. What do you know about the history of Jane Roe/Norma McCorvey? Have you read her book? Do you know if she even HAD an abortion?

For those that serve in this unique Kingdom Assignment, we lovingly suggest that you know Norma's story. Buy her book and give it a read:
Norma McCorvey's Won by Love

January 15, 2013:

Is your Recovery Program listed on the front page of your website? Maybe it has it's own website!

If your clients have to look through pages upon pages to find information about your after abortion support
opportunities, you may be losing prospective clients.

Put a direct link to your Recovery Program on the front page of your website!

If you're looking for someone to build a very small website for your Abortion Recovery Program, please consider contacting: Traceable Creations!   Cool Coyotes is also great resource for websites. ARIN has an ongoing relationship with the team at Cool Coyotes. For both agencies, please tell them you were referred by Stacy at Abortion Recovery InterNational.

January 1, 2013:

How are you going to market your program in 2013?

If you do not have your Recovery Program on Facebook yet... Set up a Facebook page!  Many of our affiliates use ONLY
their Facebook page to advertise their support groups!

DO NOT give out personal information. You want people to contact you for the details.  DO NOT advertise that the group is held in room #77 at Such-an-Such Church.

DO GIVE the dates you are offering the recovery class, the general location and contact information so that people can reach you!

It's super easy to do and we, at ARIN, will help you if you need assistance. Any questions... shoot us an email:  info@arininc.org
